and you see the things they never see
ALL YOU WANTED I COULD BE
ALL YOU WANTED I COULD BE
Appearance: Standing at five feet and ten inches, Kane has a very thin figure but with the muscle stature that compliments him. They aren't the huge muscles but enough to get him noticed in a fight. His hair is black, but always holds a very messy side to it. Being without a hairbrush can do that to a boy, but he always tries to cut it at every chance he can get.Other than his black hair and blue eyes, a small distince figure of Kane is that he has more pronounced k-9's, almost looking slightly like fangs and his ears are also a little different than a human. The tips are slightly pointed more than normal, almost like elf ears but they still have a slight round bit that makes it look more distinct to a human. Being a Kishin Egg has changed his physical appearence slightly, but it mainly gives him a pale complection and his elongated teeth.
As for clothing, Kane normally wears a pair of black jeans or slacks and a casual tanktop or sometimes even just his black hoodie open with a bare chest. Occasionally you'll see him wearing a long black jacket on the cold days but it's rather rare. Kane also carries a sword that's in a red sheath and it's always strapped to his back or right next to him, there's something special about it so he doesn't let anyone touch it.
they can't tell me who to be
'CAUSE I'M NOT WHAT THEY SEE
'CAUSE I'M NOT WHAT THEY SEE
Personality:Kane is rather quiet, but he's rather devious in his ways. Most of his lifestyles have come from his family life which was short lived. Kane has seen the hardships of living alone, as he's been wandering the states for a few years now from the age of fifteen but this explains why he's kept himself so locked away in his own mind. He does things without thinking occasionally even if they're irrational or just downright evil. He doesn't care for anyone but himself, and a lonesome being that he has lost. The only person left in his family is the only one who can calm him down, or also known as his brother Abel. Most find Kane to be a calm and collected person upon first appearance but as they say, never judge a book by it's cover.
Deep down, he holds a severe hate at himself for what he's done in his past. Being engulfed by darkness that still haunts him and probably always will. If you run into Kane, he will be sure to avoid you at all costs and that even means fighting. If you're there to kill him, which has happened, he'll run and find places to hide but if you're trying to find out his story you wont get far. Human contact isn't his specialty as he thinks he's just going to kill again. If cornered, be prepared to fight an all new angry soul.

History:Kane was born into a cute little family of Jaimee and Fredrick, two high school lovers with the intent of raising beautiful and successful children. Abel, his brother, was born a few minutes after baby Kane, but having the two didn't stop the parents from working their hardest to help their children grow. Nothing seemed off, nothing seemed wrong with the two, both were of equal size and both had qualities of each parent and almost seemed to think alike. The connection of twins was reborn in the two as they grew together in harmony. Kane was seven years old when something seemed to change about his demenor. He kept to himself and would occasionally hide away in the backyard without a word but something was very wrong, though no one could seem to place it. Kane's interest with souls began at an early age, but the thought of killing someone scared him from a very early age.
This started a spiral as Kane advanced in his studies with his brother, his mind just stopped caring about what could happen if he were to fail out of school. He just stopped caring about everything when he hit the age of ten but his brother kept on pushing and pushing to become the better of the two. It wasn't until the middle of their school year that the two finally had a falling out. Screaming, fighting, and just all out war between the two which pushed the twins further away from each other. Fredrick and Jaimee didn't know what to do when their eldest son soon enough stopped talking at home and became more enthralled with knowing about the souls of people. It was when he hit eleven that they knew something was very, very wrong. They didn't discover the bones of little animals until it was too late for their eldest. He had fallen far and seemed to keep himself very secluded from the rest of the family.
Though these parents couldn't do much while just when the boys had turned ten, their little sister was soon introduced. Fredrick couldn't stand his eldest being this way and could only find solace in getting him a therapist in hopes they would find the meaning in his sons drastic change. They couldn't risk Kane hurting anyone in the family, but what the therapist told them was hard for everyone to understand. The first meeting he had at age twelve was almost like a confessional, but Kane showed no emotion while he told the therapist that he indeed killed little animals to take their souls for his own. No one believed him, no one believed that he could take the souls of animals but this scared the family enough to put Kane in special care. He was almost thirteen when Kane was placed into a psychiatric ward for his 'problem'.
Each day, Kane's attitude changed back to his normal happy self but each day was like a new facade. He physically and mentally knew what he was doing in hopes that he would be sent home, but he couldn't understand the loathing he had for his parents. Each day he wanted to show them what the afterlife could be like, though the other side of him would shake and cry at the thought of wanting t to do so. He couldn't place why he had the thoughts of his parents dying horrible deaths, or why he could picture his baby sister dying as well in the mass of confusion.
Kane was released a few days before his fifteenth birthday, he was allowed to go curl up in his bed and sleep away all of the thoughts he had held but they didn't want to go. Abel was gone the morning that Kane's body lifted itself from bed with a cold look. He didn't hold the fake smile anymore but it more so looked almost possessed while his feet pushed him out the door of his room and straight to his mom and dad's room. Standing in the doorway, tears dripped from his eyes while he sniffled and threw on a scared look as he called out for his father first. The man didn't hesitate to rush to his son, but as he knelt down he completely regretted even coming near the boy. The sword Kane held behind his back now slid through the mans stomach like butter before pushing him away and going towards his mother.
It didn't take long for the woman to meet her demise, both of their souls being taken by the baby boy they once held closely in hopes he would become something big one day. Kane didn't hesitate to finish the job, though as he passed through his baby sisters room his mind was set on Abel and getting rid of the last bit of family, though when he realized his twin was gone it was then that he started to panic. The hunger inside of him had awakened as he had engulfed the souls of his family, two impure and one completely innocent of all darkness. The sword he held dragged on the floor while he walked to his room, tears falling from his face. Kane gathered some clothing, a backpack and the casing for the sword he had been given years back. It was on Kane's fifteenth birthday that he killed his parents, his little sister and left home as a runaway and a fugitive.
Now being Seventeen, his run hasn't stopped. He had watched the case unfold from a distance at first, with himself removed from the picture, they believed that Abel had in fact done the damage and that Kane was kidnapped but soon enough the case was left unsolved after Abel was tried and found not guilty. He stopped watching when his brother disappeared from site but ever since he's been furthering his hunt for souls to sooth the hunger. Each kill was a few weeks apart, give or take a few animals on the side but nothing could sooth the hunger he held. Not even a pure soul could keep down that growling and need. As of now, Kane is close to Death city but he's trying to keep down his kill count. He wants to find refuge in the city but he knows all about the going about of the place.

Post Example:Blue eyes watched the others in the courtyard, but by others someone crazy could be talking about the seven foot tall purple monkey out in the grass. A quiet snicker placed on the boys lips while he sat on a bench, arms crossed and legs relaxed out in front of him. He had been let outside after a little run in with his violent streak, mixed with a slight panic attack as he let his punches fly. Most of the people who watched him stayed a few feet away but those who risked pissing him off where the ones who didn't know about him. Those people ended up going home on sick leaves because of a misguided punch. Ben was surprised that this last time didn't admit him into the Panic room... again.
Letting his heavy lids close, Ben let images come to his head of the good times he had when he was younger and didn't have this problem to deal with. He didn't remember a time with his mother that this anger streak came out to show it's ugly head but his father on the other hand... it was pretty normally to see it come out and play. Something about it almost seemed like a split personality but he knew that it was inside him, just like any scent of anger anyone had. Though the person Ben counted on showing up in his memories was his little brother. The sibling and last family member he had that was alive and somewhere in the godforsaken town, but he had no option of finding. He didn't know if his name was changed, if he was still in the town, or even still alive after what he had witnessed.
From what he could recall, his sibling was around fourteen or maybe almost fourteen when he watched his older brother... his role model in life destroy what they had for a life. Ben couldn't even push himself to believe it the first year he arrived at the asylum, he thought it was all a cruel joke that he was there... he didn't kill his parents, he didn't do anything, they sent him here because he hated school and was having troubles with dealing with their father? It had hit him when he realized he was there for year, when no one came to visit him, that something was wrong. His therapist was one to break it to him after he asked... but only under the condition that it would be in one of the panic rooms. Biting down on his lip, Ben's eyes snapped open to glare at the fountain in front of him. His eyebrows clenched together in the middle of the bridge of his nose while he left the angry look on his face. It was one of the main reasons that he hated.. no... loathed the people who told him to let out his feelings and to explain what he was thinking that very minute.
Licking his lips, Ben's legs lifted him into a standing position before mindlessly walking over to the fountain. He could feel the water lightly misting his cheeks but he knew it was almost time for the fountain to shut down for the day. Glancing to the right, he could see the nurse watching him with a guard, but she didn't make a move to stop him but the guard stepped forward as a warning. Shaking his head, Ben sat on the edge of the fountain and positioned his eyes on the door to the building. As soon as it started to get dark, he would be forced to go in for the night... but all he hoped was for someone to walk through that door and for someone he could talk to.
