History:Stein was hired to teach at Shibusen after getting in a fight with Soul, Maka, Tsubaki, and Black Star. During the school's struggle with Witches Arachnae and Medusa, Stein fell prey to the madness inside of him, provoked by one of Medusa's snakes stored inside of Marie Mjolnir. Before the downfall of Arachnae, Stein was rescued from his madness by Marie. He then returned to teaching at the Academy.
Stein was first introduced to Karma when he stitched up her cheek after having it cut by Soul. Karma and Stein have been friends ever since. Karma sees Stein as a father-figure, a counselor, a mentor, and a friend. Stein enjoys Karma's company and sees elements of his own history in Karma's life.

OOC Name: Alex[/size]
Age: 18
Member Title: Mad Scientist
Experience: First timer
Post Example:Standing in excited anticipation, Stein prepares for surgery. He had just captured the object of his fascination, the Periwinkle Ipako. This rare species of bird has yet to be examined by man, until now. Stein, trembling slightly from the excitement of exploring his new territory, washes his hands and dresses them with latex gloves. The Ipako has been restrained to Stein's surgical table in the Academy's laboratory. The table is a terrifying sight, proliferated by rust and remains of Stein's past experiments.
“This will only hurt for a second,” Stein says flashing an evil grin. The procedure was simple, but very delicate. He was to make an incision into the brainstem in a way that would keep the bird living, but paralyze it and not allow it to feel pain. This would allow him to dissect the creature without having any possibility of it moving and disturbing the procedure.
Stein anxiously prepares the anesthetic. The climax of his eight months of research and tracking was about to arrive. Stein slowly moves his needle towards the creature's neck. He would have to be careful to circumvent the spinal cord to administer the anesthetic into the right location. Slowly and carefully, Stein exposes the injection point, his hands sweating and making his gloves stick to his fingers. He presses the needle up to the bird's neck and begins to snicker to himself out of sheer anticipation.
“Here it goes!” Stein shouts through his laughter holding his syringe like a child waiting to carve a pumpkin. All of the sudden, the laboratory door is swung open and Karma walks into the room.
“Hey Stein,” Karma cheerfully says, “I need to talk to you. Are you busy?”
Stein stares at her with an open mouth. “Not at all, Karma...” The Ipako sighs in relief.
