ALL YOU WANTED I COULD BE

Appearance: With platinum blonde hair and standing at about 5' 11'', Karma is very easily noticed, a trait that bothers her. She has inherited her mother's jade green eyes and her father's light, difficult to manage hair. She wears her favorite colors, a red camisole, black jacket and boots, and white jeans. The most noticeable feature about her is the scar below her right eye.
they can't tell me who to be
'CAUSE I'M NOT WHAT THEY SEE
'CAUSE I'M NOT WHAT THEY SEE
Personality:Karma can't start the day without a strong cup of black coffee from Deathbucks and a good horror manga. Usually, she seems mad at the world, and the only way to cheer her up is to give her some poor, dead animal to dissect. Her best bud, Professor Stein, tends to have just the thing and is always available for a counseling session... or a dissection lab. While most perceive her as scary, Karma is really very loyal and caring once she let's someone in.
She's very claustrophobic, to the point that large gatherings, like parties, occasionally give her panic attacks. She hates her father more than anything and can't stand to see her mother upset. Men are difficult for her because while she is attracted to some of them, she is very wary and distrustful of them. She sees the world in shades of gray rather than in black and white, so her perception of the line between good and evil is blurred at times.
Likes: black coffee, the manga "Rabbit Doubt", gory horror films, the piano
Dislikes: the color pink, skirts, Shojo manga, most men, seeing her mother cry
Fears: large crowds and enclosed spaces
Goals: surpass her father as the youngest Death Scythe in history
Strengths: courageous, hard-working, alert, perfectionist, aggressive
Weaknesses: often feels misunderstood, must always be right, holds grudges easily, melancholy, pessimistic, claustrophobic
Quirks/Habits:absentmindedly touches her scar
how can the world want me to change
THEY'RE THE ONES THAT STAY THE SAME
THEY'RE THE ONES THAT STAY THE SAME
Family Members: Soul Evans (father), Maka Albarn (mother), Michael Evans (younger brother)
History:It all started with the cool guy and the book worm, two people who never wanted to fall in love. But fate had a way of changing things, and Soul Evans and Maka Albarn married not long after finishing their days at Shibusen. Then along came a baby girl: Karma. Soul was asked to name her, and he chose the name to fit himself and his father-in-law (Spirit, Soul, Karma). While both parents loved her just the same, Maka always said that Karma was "Daddy's little girl". The young girl never knew about the darkness lying within her beloved father's soul.
It wasn't until soon after her younger brother, Michael, was born that Karma's father began to act strangely. He'd seem distant often, or would talk to himself. Finally, the night Black Star, Tsubaki, and their daughter, Sayuri, had come over, the Black Blood within Soul took over. Karma had always loved her father's piano playing, and had asked him to teach her. He sat her down and taught her a C major scale. As she practiced, Soul began to hear the song from the phonograph in the Black Room instead of his daughter's playing. Terrified, his arm turned into the blade from his scythe and cut open Karma's right cheek.
Maka rushed her to the nearest doctor she knew: Franken Stein. As her mother raced after Soul, Karma was stitched up by the professor. He startled her when she woke up from the anesthisia, causing her to finally turn into her scythe form. Black Star brought her home to a sobbing Maka. Soul was gone. Karma vowed that day, the day she saw the strongest woman she ever knew cry, that she will never forgive anyone who hurt her mother.
Despite Maka telling her two children wonderful stories of their father, Karma couldn't forget what had happened, and to this day, she still hates her father. Rumor has it, he's somewhere near Death City now. She hopes they never cross paths.

Post Example:Slamming her manga close, Karma sighed and looked towards the chalkboard. “Whenever you finally pick a mission out. I don’t care where we start so long as we actually start.” The scythe eyed the manga in her meister’s hands. “Is that… the manga I use to hide mine from Mom?”
As the teacher explained rules and expectations of the class, Karma glanced back at Garu who still had his feet propped up on the desk. Something about him bothered her. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but something in the back of her mind said something was wrong. “Hey, Sayuri…” she whispered to her meister. “Mind taking a look at that guy’s soul? What was his name again? Garu?”
Maybe it was just her being paranoid. She was distrustful of men, maybe that was the reason something felt wrong. She absentmindedly touched the scar on her right cheek. Stop it, Karma, she thought to herself. You don’t have to think about that anymore. Be a better weapon than he ever was…[/blockquote][/blockquote]
